Later F-Dubb...

I left Fort Worth yesterday.

I said goodbye to the Director Board, to friends moving away... to all the people that have made my life inexplicably blessed and exciting for the past three years.

Six months away from Fort Worth seems unreal at this point in my life. I have been working my tail off and playing hard for TCU non-stop since I got there. Now, I am leaving for a place where no one knows me, I hold no leadership positions and I have no real extra curricular commitments at all. It will be different to put it lightly.

Yesterday the plane powered past the place I now call home and I thought to myself - "I am going to be so unreasonably excited to come back here for school in January."

Now that I am back in Atlanta I have three weeks to enjoy my family's company, and hopefully relax. Then, July 19th it looks as though we will be leaving for Omaha, NE to see family, then possibly a stop in Michigan (if I'm lucky), and off to General Assembly in Indianapolis, IN. I get back to Atlanta August 2nd and leave for Africa August 7th.

The rest of this summer is going to fly by.

Left on the list to do:

Send in Student Visa paperwork
Get the yellow fever vaccine + my malaria pills
Buy luggage and a good camera

And then it's here... and I'm oustsa the States for a good chunk of time...

Seriously?

Holy Peter - it's happening.
